"The 2017 Chassagne Montrachet Château de la Maltroye is a fine example of a fair, flavorful and harmonious Chassagne Montrachet. What a beautiful, silky, intense, golden apple-yellow color with a beautiful golden sheen, with a tight and tender body. The bouquet is harmonious and, despite its youth, of a beautiful aromatic concentration. Complex, juicy and ample, it has aromas of baked apple, brioche, vanilla, white chocolate, subtle woody notes, vanilla, cigar wrapper of blond tobacco. On the palate, we have a superb velvety texture that is generous and tender, and finishes with a great harmony of class."
