Veuve Clicquot Réserve

€51.00

Champagne Veuve Cliquot Réserve Cuvée is composed of a majority of Pinot Noir (50-55%), the House's emblematic grape variety, which brings power and structure, while Chardonnay (28-33%) adds elegance, freshness and finesse. A touch of Meunier (15-20%) adds roundness and fruitiness. The cuvée is made up of 50 to 60 different crus. Reserve wines, which guarantee the consistency of the House style, make up 30-45% of the blend, depending on the year. Produced from 5 to 6 different harvests, they are kept in individual vats by grape variety, cru and vintage.

Veuve Clicquot Réserve Cuvée is distinguished first and foremost by its intense golden color and fine bubbles.

The nose is a perfect balance of peach, apricot and pear, with subtle notes of spice, vanilla and pastry.

On the palate, there are pronounced toasted and praline aromas, followed by more complex notes born of prolonged cellar ageing and its oak-aged dosage liqueur, revealing toasty and brioche notes. This exceptional bouquet, born of the marriage of a unique dosage liqueur and prolonged aging, amplifies a beautiful aromatic intensity.

Grande Réserve champagne can be enjoyed on many occasions.

Ideal as an aperitif, it's an elegant accompaniment to any meal: pair it with fish, sushi, ceviche, crayfish, oysters, lobster or scallops, as well as fruit or chocolate desserts.

Serve between 8° and 10° in slightly wide glasses that allow the bouquet to express itself.
