"2009 was the first vintage for this extraordinary clos (0.57 hectare) located just below the Domainede La Romanée-Conti. This Vosne-Romanée has a beautiful, intense, deep, dark garnet red color with some purple highlights. We note the presence of tannins which accentuate the density of a supple and pleasant body. One discovers a beautiful bouquet, pleasantly expressive, aromatic, with finesse, while being complex and generous: red fruits, cherry, wild strawberry, blackcurrant berry, fresh walnut, leather, light wood and Arabica coffee beans. On the palate, this Vosne-Romanée shows great vigor and hold. It is a racy, full-bodied wine with good tannic support giving volume and substance, while preserving the subtle finesse of the Vosne-Romanée terroir. "

"A wine for keeping that you can serve between 5 and 12 years of ageing (2015 is a great vintage in Burgundy). To be served between 6° and 18°. If you wish to open this wine now, uncork your bottle 30 minutes before tasting it with a baked poultry, a pigeon with foie gras, a stuffed duck, a beef bourguignon, a pork chop with oyster mushrooms."
