"FERRONI's JUILLET Fruits d'été Gin is distilled in a very small alembic dating from the 1800's. It is made from organic French wheat alcohol. The ""botanicals"" are macerated directly in the still (the ""London Gin"" method). The recipe is inspired and adapted from an old recipe from Guillaume FERRONI's collection of old books. In addition to a bouquet of classic herbs, among which the fresh notes have been highlighted, the still also receives a ""basket"" of fresh fruit from Provence (apricot, melon, white peach) typical of the month of July. The ""fruity"" distillation is spread over the months of July and August. TASTING NOTES : Nose of great aromatic power. This distillate is fragrant, exuberant, round and fresh... Great freshness of a coniferous forest and a Mediterranean garden planted with lemon trees. Heavy and fruity notes of apricots and summer fruits, night flowers with heady perfumes. But also candies of the Vosges, delicate and discreet aniseed notes."
